Our first cleanup: five bags off the Barnegat Branch Trail

Before OBB had programs, it had a trail and five people willing to clean it.

On May 3, 2026, five members walked the Barnegat Branch Trail with gloves and garbage bags, working their way through the woods and into the Atlantic Heights community. By the end of the afternoon, they’d filled five bags of trash, proof that you don’t need a big budget or a big group to start making a visible difference.

It’s a small first step, but it’s the kind of thing OBB is built around: showing up, doing the work, and leaving a place better than you found it.
